The World Economic Forum

Reimagining how political leaders, educational institutions, policymakers and industry experts create meaningful change.

The World Economic Forum delivers global events that bring together leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to connect, access content, and participate in discussions through physical and digitally hosted events. However, this experience was previously split across two legacy systems, creating inconsistency for users and added complexity for event teams.

A single, scalable platform was introduced to unify the experience. Built on shared infrastructure and a common authentication model, it supports different member types within one environment. Its modular, role-based design allows the experience to adapt to user needs while supporting multiple events and enabling more efficient agenda management and networking.

Popsa’s success had been driven primarily through its native mobile app. However, requiring users to download the app before creating a product introduced friction in the conversion journey. To reach a broader audience and capture high-intent web traffic, the business needed a web-based version of the experience that could reduce barriers to entry while maintaining the quality and emotional appeal of the native product.
